GENERAL
How do I get started?
- Call our direct-line at (206)396-1245
- Give us your company name and address, service desired (urgency level), the pickup and delivery locations, and the nature of the package (whether envelope, flat, box, etc.)
- We’re on our way!
With no forms or applications to fill out your new KNR account can be set up over the phone in moments. If you are new to KNR, please be sure to accompany a business card with your first delivery.
How do I fill out a slip?
Starting from the top, enter the date and the call in time. Next choose which kind of delivery service you would like to book (your urgency). Enter your company name and address, the sender of the package (in case there is some question later) and your internal job or billing code/reference number. On the right hand side fill out the recipients name and address and also any delivery notes, such as phone numbers or special instructions. At the top left corner you will notice a box asking “OK TO LEAVE?”. This refers to a delivery to a business or residence that can not be received directly. It is a request to leave the package by sliding under or leaving by the door. If this box is not checked, permission to leave the package is assumed. The `X` at the bottom is where the recipient signs. The white copy belongs to KNR, the yellow copy is returned to you with your monthly invoice, and the pink copy accompanies the delivery for identification purposes.
How do I figure out how much a delivery will cost if it isn’t picked up in Seattle?
When shipping between two zip codes outside of downtown, rates are calculated at 75% of the cost of shipping to both zip codes originating from downtown. For example, Ballard (98107) to Bellevue (98004) on a 2 hour: (20.00 x 75%) + (20.00 x 75%) = $30
